Before you get your cabinets installed you’ll need to find a local kitchen remodeling company. It’s not too hard. Just make sure to get a few different quotes. You’ll be able to find someone that you like. Just remember that the lowest bid isn’t always the best one. You’re better off taking someone in the middle that you feel is reliable.
Wood, laminate, or stainless steel?
If you want a sturdy cabinet, consider only wood or stainless steel. Most people would choose wood over steel, primarily because there are a lot of wood types (oak, mahogany, cherry, maple, etc) to choose from and endless design options as well.
Stainless steel cabinets, on the other hand, are sleek and chic and very modern. Steel is very much fireproof and lasts longer than wood, of course; but unlike wooden cabinets, stainless steel cabinets are more prone to dents and surface eyesores such as grease, fingerprints and grime.
